Artist and Educator
Linda D. Berkley is a professional artist and arts educator working in drawing, painting, scientific illustration, collage and mixed media since 1986, based in the Pacific Northwest.
In recent studio work and studies, Linda is focused on Rozome and Katazome (Japanese resist dye painting on silk), and exploring natural pigment applications, digital drawing and painting, and scientific illustration.
Linda is a graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and received her MFA at the University of Arizona, Tucson.
Linda retired from her academic profession in 2023 after working as art department chair and full-time studio art faculty at Everett Community College, WA and at Portland Community College, OR prior; teaching for a total of 27 years.
Linda D. Berkley has work in public and private collections and exhibits regionally and nationally. In addition to her artwork, Linda D. Berkley also regularly teaches regional art workshops celebrating passion and skills of creative practice.
